This is my special friend Martina. We accidentally ran into each other on the Internet and have been the best of friends ever since. I have never met someone like Martina before. She is from Germany and is a lot different from any woman I have ever met because she thinks differently . Martina is on her last year before graduating from OU with her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, and her list of accomplishments goes on. Mulli, as I like to call her, is in France for the summer doing research at the University Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand, France. We stay in constant communication with each other, and I am going to met her in Paris this summer, if all goes well. I am very excited about my new friendship with Mulli.
The Picture above is the last time
me and Martina was together. Martina was the first girl that I had
totally fell, “Gonedy N Love” with! You would not have blamed me if you
were
to meet her. She was quit extraordinary; she grew up in East Germany
during a very hard time. She had gone to school and collage for he majority
of her life, to obtain her PhD. Martina had the type of personality that
would lighten up any room, and had a way about her that
was very
unique. I think that the relationship that we shared was the most
educational. It taught me that no matter how much you think that you are
in love, after the pink cloud of love dissipates, the only way it will
last is if it is an unconditional love. I like to think back on the time
we spent together as my fairy tale romance, but I mean that in a good way.
We did meet up in Paris that summer, and traveled across Europe. I had
the opportunity to meet all of her family in Germany. It was a good
time, and a great adventure that I will always remember. I only hope the
best for Martina in her many travels in life. I hope she looks back at
the time we shared as fondly as I do.
